Empower us to empower others, attend the DDS Empowerment Auction on Friday, April 20, 2017 at the Lebanon Valley Expo Center and Fairgrounds and support people with disabilities living in your community. This year’s auction features over $500 in free drawing and registration prizes, with more than 30 awards being handed out to those in attendance. Doors open Friday at 4 p.m. for registration and auction preview. A Silent Auction opens at 5 p.m. with varying closing times that end at 8 p.m. The Live Auction will kick off at 6 p.m. with Dave Ebersole of Ebersole’s Country Auction (License #AU000246L) presiding. Hundreds of auction lots, generously donated by our business partners and community stakeholders, will be sold, including many household items, gift certificates theme baskets and collectibles. New this year, is an on-line auction feature. DDS partnered with Lane Ryan Auctions ((License #AY-002207) to broaden the scope of its auction and to offer Vacation experiences and packages. Come early and enjoy a BBQ Dinner featuring a choice of beef or pork BBQ, Cole slaw, chips and water for $7 per dinner. The BBQ dinner will be held 4 – 7 p.m. and is provided by the generous contributions of ASK, Dieffenbach Chips, E&E Discount Beer Warehouse and Gary Heisey. All proceeds benefit Developmental & Disability Services of Lebanon Valley, Inc.
