Shop Small and Shop Local at Christmas at the Expo Nov. 25-27
Holiday Gift Show to be held at Lebanon Valley Exposition Center & Fairgrounds
LEBANON — Shop small and shop local this holiday season at the second annual “Christmas at the Expo” on Nov. 25-27 at the Lebanon Valley Exposition Center & Fairgounds, 80 Rocherty Road in Lebanon. With more than 150 individual vendors under one roof, shoppers are sure to find something for everyone on their holiday shopping list.
Christmas at the Expo offers a great variety of vendors with products such as apparel and accessories for the entire family, candles, home decor, soap, holiday decorations, vintage and upcycled items, wood crafts, primitive furniture, jewelry, scarves, baked goods, gift baskets, cards, toys, and much more. Fresh cut Christmas trees, wreaths and swags will also be available on site benefiting the Northern Lebanon FFA Chapter. Festive live holiday music will be performed according to the following schedule: Nov. 25, 2:30 p.m., Matt Miskie; Nov. 26, 10:30 a.m., Bryan Herber; Nov. 26, 2:30 p.m., Doug Koch; Nov. 27, 12:30 p.m., The Jayplayers.
Children will love the opportunity to tell Santa Claus what is on their wish list this Christmas and receive a free keepsake picture, courtesy of D.Naftzinger Photography. Plan to visit Santa from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Nov. 25, and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Nov. 26.
“Christmas at the Expo is held in conjunction with one of the biggest shopping weekends of the year, and we are interested in making sure that shopping with small, local businesses is a part of Lebanon Valley residents’ shopping itinerary,” said Emily Summey, show co-coordinator. “There is great value in supporting small business – both in the value of purchasing a fine handmade craft as well as helping to keep your dollars invested in your local economy.”
Shoppers have multiple opportunities to support area nonprofits at Christmas at the Expo as well. Bring a canned food item for Lebanon Rescue Mission’s fall food drive and receive an entry into prize drawings. The Mission is in need of the following items: coffee, hot chocolate, tea bags, canned meats (tuna and spam), canned fruits and applesauce, pasta, rice, stuffing mix, instant potatoes, cereals, oatmeal, pancake mix, syrup, and snacks. Gift wrapping services are available by donation and benefit a local Relay for Life team.
Christmas at the Expo is open Friday, Nov. 25, 2 to 6 p.m.; Saturday, Nov.  26, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.; and Sunday, Nov. 27, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Admission is $3 at the door for ages 10 and up, under 10 is free; cash only. Parking is free. Food and drinks are available for purchase on site; no outside food or drinks please.
